Today, on Monday, May 9, 2022, GIZ announced that it has signed a partnership contract with the Berlin-based company "Code Cooperation" to strengthen the Tunisian IT ecosystem.
This partnership aims to provide startups, scale-ups, and companies with a sustainable and scalable development team and CTO at reasonable prices.
TheDOT.tn will host the first employees of Code Cooperation in the coming months, providing support for local startups, including mentoring.
This initiative, stemming from the "Business and Invest" component, is implemented as part of the Special Initiative for Training and Employment "Invest for Jobs," mandated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and executed by GIZ Tunisia through its Digital Transformation Program.
GIZ also mentioned that "Code Cooperation" was seeking IT partners in Eastern Europe, India, and Pakistan and ultimately chose Tunisia, emphasizing that this is "a new success for the growing Tunisian digital economy."
